Focusing First On People
Careers at FFOP
At FFOP, we believe recruitment should offer something valuable to everyone who takes part. Whether someone joins our team or continues their journey elsewhere, we want the experience to help them grow in confidence, develop their skills and better understand their strengths.
Current opportunities
We don’t have any job openings at the moment. If you’re looking for support with employment, developing your skills or preparing for your next opportunity, we’d still be happy to hear from you.
More than an interview
We know that applying for jobs can be challenging. Interviews should give people the chance to show what they can offer, but they can also be an opportunity to learn.
Our aim is to help candidates understand the recruitment process, recognise their strengths and identify areas they may wish to develop.
Where practical, we want candidates who reach the interview stage to leave with useful feedback and a clearer understanding of how to prepare for future opportunities.
The FFOP recruitment journey
Stage 1
Application
You share your details and relevant experience. Our job descriptions explain what the role involves and the skills it needs, in straightforward language.
Stage 2
Interview preparation
If you are invited to interview, we send guidance on what to expect, how the interview is structured, the skills and experience we may discuss, how to prepare examples of your work and how to request reasonable adjustments.
Stage 3
The interview
Interviews are fair, structured and respectful. Questions focus on relevant skills, experience, potential and your understanding of the role, and you will have time to ask your own questions.
Stage 4
Outcome and feedback
You receive an outcome after your interview. Where practical, we also offer constructive feedback on your strengths and areas for development, relevant to the role and shared respectfully.
Stage 5
Continuing development
Where appropriate, we can point you towards useful training, employment support or other opportunities. This is optional, and it is not a promise of training or alternative employment.
Optional, for interviewed candidates
Your Interview Development Record
Where appropriate, candidates we interview can receive a short written record of what they demonstrated and where they may wish to develop. Every record is written and approved by a member of FFOP staff before it is shared. It is never generated or sent automatically.
- 1The role you applied for and your interview date
- 2Key strengths you demonstrated
- 3Skills or experience you could develop further
- 4Practical suggestions for future interviews
- 5Relevant learning or employment-support opportunities
- 6A short personal development action plan
Records never contain discriminatory comments, unsupported personal judgements or information about other candidates. Applicant information is used only for recruitment, kept securely, shared only with the people involved in the decision and deleted once it is no longer needed, in line with UK GDPR. You can ask us about or for a copy of your information at info@ffop.co.uk.
Your next opportunity starts somewhere
Not every application leads to a job offer, but that does not mean the experience cannot be valuable. At FFOP, we believe people deserve opportunities to build their confidence, strengthen their skills and prepare for what comes next.
